Why upgrade to an SSD?
Mechanical harddrives are still used for certain applications like, surveillance equipment, Nas drives and large storage solutions. PC’s are now being fitted with SSD and m2 Sata drives which can be retrofitted.
PC Service Centre has all the equipment and experience to upgrade your mechanical hard drive for your laptop or desktop to the latest SSD (solid-state drives).
This upgrade will increase the data throughput to allow your machine to run faster.
Computer technology has advanced over the years, and so have the hard drive in computers.
The system has gone from mechanical drives to new Solid State drives; there are 2 form factors available. The standard 2.5’ drives to M2 SATA drives.
SSD drives are more reliable than the older mechanical units. Mechanical drives cost per GB is slightly better, but SSD drives are much faster and quieter.
All laptops will run faster with solid-state drives installed. Laptops manufactured over the last few years already have these drives installed and we can advise.
